The Consulate General of the Republic of Haiti in Miami is entrusted with a mission of representation.

 

The Consulate General of the Republic of Haiti in Miami is responsible for representing, protecting, and promoting national interests. Its responsibilities are as follows:

  • Consular protection and assistance: safeguarding the rights and interests of Haitian nationals within its jurisdiction.
  • Consular and administrative services: issuing passports, visas, civil status documents, certificates, and other official documents in accordance with the laws and regulations in force.
  • Cultural, educational, and economic promotion: promoting Haitian cultural heritage, encouraging community initiatives, and contributing to the development of economic and commercial exchanges.
  • Local diplomacy: maintaining cooperative relations with local authorities, partner institutions, and civil society organizations.
    Strengthening ties between the diaspora and the homeland: mobilizing the diaspora as an actor in national development by promoting its civic, economic, and cultural participation

Through these missions, the Consulate General of Haiti in Miami aims to be a modern administrative center, a source of legal and social protection, and an instrument of diplomatic and cultural influence for the Republic of Haiti in Florida and beyond.
